A google map on your contact page tells customers exactly where you are, makes your business feel real and saves "where are you located?" calls. Elementor's free Google Maps widget makes it a 2-minute job.

Method 1: Elementor Google Maps widget

  1. Edit your contact page with Elementor.
  2. Drag the Google Maps widget into the layout.
  3. In Location, type your business name and city or full address.
  4. Adjust Zoom (14 to 16 works for most local businesses) and height.
  5. In the Style tab, you can add a CSS filter such as slight grayscale to match your design.

Method 2: Embed your Google Business listing

Open Google Maps, search your business, click Share > Embed a map and copy the iframe code. In Elementor, add an HTML widget and paste it. In the block editor, use a Custom HTML block. This shows your listing with its name and reviews link.

Pair the map with NAP details

Next to the map, show your business Name, Address and Phone exactly as on your Google Business Profile, plus opening hours and a "Get directions" button linking to Google Maps.

Keep it fast

  • One map per page, placed lower down.
  • Native lazy loading applies to iframes; speed plugins can also delay maps until scrolled into view.
  • On mobile, a static image linking to directions is even lighter.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

Elementor's basic Google Maps widget works without an API key using a simple embed. Advanced multi-pin maps in Pro or addons may require a key.

How do I show my exact business pin?

Search your business name as it appears on Google Maps, or use the full address. If your Business Profile is set up, the embed from Google Maps' Share > Embed a map option shows your listing.

Does an embedded map help local SEO?

It helps visitors, and showing a consistent name, address and phone on your site supports local SEO. Your Google Business Profile matters more for map rankings.

Will a map slow my page?

Maps load extra scripts. Place them low on the page, use one map per page and consider lazy loading.
